Jim Berger, CPESC
Jim Berger is Senior Construction Manager at Port Blakely Communities, a leader in sustainable development. He is currently at their flagship Issaquah Highlands project. He has 28 years experience in construction and site development. And is responsible for all stormwater programs, erosion control, and slope stability management at Issaquah Highlands. Jim is a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) and past member of the Board of Directors for the Northwest Chapter of the IECA. Jim also teaches the CESCL, (Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead) classes required by the WSDOE for NPDES classified construction sites and hosts several tours for CESCL students every year. Andy Brown
Regional Sales Director of MOVE, Inc., has more than 13 years of progressive experience directing over 70 employees in companies with revenues in excess of $600 million. Andy has led these companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes. With a strong knowledge of both print and Internet marketing and advertising, Andy has been responsible for $60 million in gross sales throughout his career.
Andy is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB), National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC), and has served as Chairman on local Sales and Marketing (SMC) awards committees. Brown is the current Chairman for the Institute of Residential Marketing retention task force and was appointed to the NSMC/IRM Sponsorship task force. Andy has been a company and industry educator throughout his career. He has created and spoken on Internet marketing, new media sales and effective website trends at local, regional, and national trade association events. During his career he has also presented training programs that he has helped create to national homebuilders and real estate franchisees. Andy has been an active member of the University of Housing-Advanced Real Estate Education programs.

David Crowe, PhD
David Crowe, PhD currently heads the NAHB regulatory and housing policy area which is responsible for advocating home building issues before federal agencies as well as credible policy analyses of federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies that affect the industry. He will be the new chief economist for NAHB and will take on that role when current Chief Economist, David Seiders, steps down on November 17. David Crowe has held several senior level positions in economics, housing policy and housing finance since he joined NAHB in 1989 and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Kentucky. Prior to joining NAHB, he was the Deputy Director for the Division of Housing and Demographic Analysis in HUD’s Office of Economic Affairs.

Elliot Eisenberg is the Senior Economist of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in Washington, D.C. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in economics with First Class Honors from McGill University as well as a Master of Public Administration degree and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Syracuse University. Dr. Eisenberg is a frequent public speaker on numerous housing and housing related topics including; the economic impact of homebuilding, the unintended consequences of government regulations on house prices, residential fire safety and how to reduce risk and boost profits using financial derivatives. David Johnston
Author and green building expert, David Johnston, is a leading thinker behind the green building movement, transforming the way we think about the American home. His approach to green building has been embraced by municipalities, homeowners, building professionals and sustainability advocates nation-wide. Johnston’s current book, Green Remodeling: Changing the World One Room at a Time, co-authored with fellow green building consultant Kim Master, has been hailed as the definitive guide to green remodeling techniques.
Johnston is a much sought after lecturer and keynote speaker and has represented the United States at International Energy Efficiency meetings to develop international research agreements in the area of sustainable construction. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious "Corporate Excellence Award for Sustainable Development" from the University of Colorado, and the "Environmental Hero for 2004" title by Interiors and Sources Magazine. Tod Leiweke
An industry leader in the Northwest, Tod Leiweke enters his sixth season with the Seattle Seahawks, 26th season in professional sports, after joining the club in June 2003. On March 1, 2007, Paul Allen named him CEO of Vulcan Sports and Entertainment, a new entity in which Leiweke assumed responsibility for all aspects of the Seahawks, First and Goal Inc (the organization that manages Qwest Field and Event Center for the state of Washington), the Allen-owned Portland Trail Blazers and Rose Garden.
In November 2007, Leiweke was instrumental in helping bring Major League Soccer to the Northwest. Vulcan Sports and Entertainment is part of the ownership group and Leiweke will represent Allen on the board for the Seattle team that will begin play at Qwest Field in 2009.
In 2006 under Leiweke’s direction, the Seahawks sold out of season tickets for the first time since the early 1990’s and developed Blue Pride, the team’s season ticket waiting list. Seattle has also extended their sellout streak at Qwest Field to 44 consecutive games. In 2005, Qwest Field was named by The Sporting News as the finest venue in the National Football League. Under Leiweke’s leadership, 2005 was a historic year both on and off the field. In addition to winning the NFC Championship and advancing to the team's first Super Bowl, the Seahawks won the 2005 NFL Sports Fan's Quality Award as the league's "Fan Friendliest" team. During the annual NFL meetings, NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue commented on the extraordinary support and involvement of the Seahawks fans.
Leiweke’s vision is a Seahawks organization that is committed on behalf of its fans to winning in the stadium and in the community. Leiweke was instrumental in forming the "Spirit of 12" Partnerships. Teaming with Qwest Communications, the partnership benefits the American Heart Association, Boys & Girls Clubs Washington State Association, Camp Fire USA, Treehouse, and YMCA of Greater Seattle.
Leiweke serves as a board member on a number of Washington-based organizations including Washington CEO Roundtable, YMCA of Greater Seattle, and The Space Needle. He was instrumental in launching the annual Boeing Classic golf tournament in 2005 and serves as co-chair of the Executive Committee. The tournament has raised nearly $3 million its first three years with the primary beneficiary being The Heart Institute at Virginia Mason Medical Center.
Before joining the Seahawks, Leiweke served as president of the Minnesota Wild and chief operating officer of Minnesota Sports & Entertainment (MSE). Under Leiweke's leadership the Sports Fans of America Association, Inc. awarded its 2003 NHL Sports Fan's Quality Award to the Wild as the league's "Fan Friendliest" team. In an ESPN survey conducted in 2003, the team was ranked number one for stadium experience and number two for fan relationships among 123 sports franchises. The Wild played to sellouts for every game in each of its first four seasons.
Prior to joining the Wild, he served as the inaugural executive director of The First Tee organization which welcomed underprivileged youth into the world of golf through the development of golf facilities throughout North America. Leiweke has also held executive positions with the PGA TOUR, the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks and the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.
Leiweke, 48 (1/12/60), is a native of St. Louis, Mo. and is married, Tara, with two children, Tyler and Tori.

She is the current past president of the Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce and is also chairing Sustainable September, a month long promotion of Businesses on the Eastside that are leaders in sustainable practices and industries.
She was the 2006 Chair of the East King County Chamber of Commerce Legislative Coalition. Brenda is an active member of the Master Builders of King and Snohomish County (MBAKS) Built Green Executive Committee, co-chair of the MBAKS Built Green Marketing Committee, Past President of Society for Marketing Professional Services, and a member of National Association of Office and Industrial Properties. She is currently assisting Central Washington Home Builders in the development of their Built Green Program. She has a BA in Communications from Marquette University and a Masters in Business Administration from Seattle University.
Brenda was the developer of the award winning Built Green Home at Suncadia and has spoken to numerous organizations about this project. She recently won a MBAKS Pioneer Award for her contributions to Green Building.

Dr. Sonia G. Morales Osegueda is a faculty member of Washington State University Extension. A native of El Salvador, Central America and Citizen of the United States she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy and Master’s Degree from Autonoma Agraria “Antonio Narro, Mexico. She holds a second Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University. Her previous experience includes 13 years professorship at universities in El Salvador, Mexico, and at Oklahoma State University, and ten years as a researcher in Mexico, El Salvador, Oklahoma, and India. She has extensive international experience throughout Mexico, Central America, and India in the capacity of a professor, plant breeder and crop specialist. Dr. Morales joined Washington State University Extension in 1999 as a Faculty in King County.
